Meet our cover star, Bryan Carter
Introducing our wunderkind cover start and drumming extraordinaire, Bryan Carter!
This drumming extraordinaire started hitting the beat at only three years old, and by 11 he'd studied and played with legendary drummers Ed Thigpen, Louie Bellson and Harold Jones.
After attending the Julliard School of Music in New York, he played and recorded with Clark Terry, McCoy Tyner, Wynton Marsalis, Branford Marsalis, Mulgrew Miller, Jon Faddis, Ted Nash, Terell Stafford, Bobby Watson, Lew Tabackin, Kenny Barron, Cyrus Chestnut and currently tours with vocalists Michael Feinstein and Kurt Elling.
He's an incredible drummer and will be performing in six concerts around Edinburgh in July. Follow him across the Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival…
