Edinburgh Jazz School is an online series of masterclasses led by Fergus McCreadie, Joe Williamson, David Bowden, and other young professionals from the Scottish Jazz Scene.

Via Zoom, they'll lead small groups in masterclasses based around simple principles of jazz performance and improvisation, as well as larger group sessions to improve your timekeeping, rhythm, harmony and ear training.

Who is this course designed for?

This course is designed for anyone who is interested learning about jazz and improvising! It's important to note that this course does not cover instrumental tuition. We recommend that prospective students have a basic command of their instrument and basic music reading skills before taking part.
