Princes Street and the gardens will play host to the Edinburgh Festival Carnival on the 15 July. Excpect to see flamboyant outfits and world class music as the streets are transformed into a party atmosphere.

Accessibility: There are disabled access toilets in Princes Street Gardens at the West End, Ross Band Stand and at the bottom of the Mound on the Weston Link (each of these require a RADAR key for access). 

Food/Drink: There are a number of cafes, restaurants and bars in the surrounding area.

Getting There

Bus: Lothian Buses operate the following services close to Princes Street and Princes Street Gardens: 1, 3, 4, 10, 11, 15, 16, 22, 24, 25, 27, 28, 30, 33, 34, 44.

Car: There are limited car parking spaces in the streets surrounding the area. We recommend taking public transport or taxi to avoid disappointment.
