Sipp and Southern in a delicious double bill 10 Jun 2015
We're very excited to bring blues fans a sensational debutant double bill this July, in the shape of Royal Southern Brotherhood and Mr Sipp.
The Brotherhood are formed of five superb muscians, each firmly rooted in the musical tradition of the South. They include Cyrille Neville of funk-soul bands The Meters and The Neville Brothers, plus Tyrone Vaughan, son of renowned blues-rock guitarist Jimmie, and nephew of the late great blues legend Stevie Ray Vaughan.
Mr Sipp (aka Castro Coleman) is an award-winning star guitarist from Mississippi way, delivering amazingly powerful shows of blues-driven guitar - he's also one of the artists invited to the Festival as a result of the travels of Jed Potts and Sandy Tweeddale.
