Christian Garrick joins Rose Room's concert 11 Jul 2018
One of the UK's top violinsts, Christian Garrick, joins Rose Room in a brand new collaboration, specially for EJBF2018.
Garrick is a professor of jazz and non-classical violin at three of London’s major music conservatoires. He’s played with Nigel Kennedy, Cleo Laine, Caro Emerald, Martin Taylor and he’s a mainstay of the Budapest Café Orchestra.
Swinging like Stephane Grappelli or playing in more modern styles he’s got "meltingly beautiful, light as air playing, imaginative variety of sounds, impeccable taste” (The Guardian).
They play at George Square Spiegeltent on Thursday 19th July - click here for more information
